The PSOE in Ceuta have announced that they have asked the Anticorruption Prosecutor to investigate the resignation of disgraced "sex for favours" politician PEDRO GORDILLO.
Sr Gordillo resigned last week from his position as Vice President of Ceuta after a video in which he offered political favours to a woman in exchange for sex was made public. (Read full story here: Ceuta vice-president resigns over favours-for-sex video )
According to José Antonio Carracao, secretary general of the Ceuta PSOE party, lawyers for the PSOE party are preparing the documents to finalise the request.
The PSOE have accused Juan Jesús Vivas , President of Ceuta, of attempting to "change the page" without properly investigating the case, and are asking what, if anything, is being swept under the carpet by Sr Gordillo's resignation.
