A MAN in the town of El Alquian had a lucky escape last night when firemen rescued him from the inside of a rubbish lorry.
The incident occurred at 00:45 last night, when the Almeria fire department was called out to help free a man trapped inside a rubbish lorry. Apparently, the man had been asleep inside one of the large municipal rubbish containers in the town centre and the bin men had tipped him into the back of their vehicle without realising.
It is unknown whether the man sustained any injuries during his ordeal.
