A lorry driver who tested positive for alcohol has caused an accident on the A-4 (near Seville) in which one man died early this morning when driving the wrong way up the motorway.
The lorry entered the motorway on the wrong lane, and when the driver realized his mistake he tried to cross over the central lane, without spotting an oncoming car which was crushed by his trailer.
The 32 year old lorry driver had to be cut out of his cab by firemen and was arrested after testing positive. Several other cars hit the wreckage, although no other injuries were reported.
And in Soria a three car pile up on the motorway left two people dead and three others badly injured in one of the busiest weekends on the road.

Too many times I have seen these drives guzzling alcohol and then getting into their lorries and driving off.
