INFOCA has given permission for many of the volunteers and reserve forces to return home, but will maintain a full emergency team onsite until the fire is extinguished.
Technicians from GALASA and Sevillana Endesa, the water and electric companies, have been allowed into the affected areas in order to survey damages to utilities. It is expected that several electric lines may have to be replaced.
A pumping station that brings water from Carboneras was damaged due to high temperatures and an electrical short circuit, cutting off supplies to 12 municipalities.
