Madrid politician apologises to the “son of a b*tch”

PRESIDENT OF THE MADRID community, Esperanza Aguirre, has sent a letter of apology to a member of her own party who she was caught insulting.
Events began last January 29, when Sra Aguirre was caught speaking close to a microphone she did not realise was on and referring to politician, Fernando Serrano, a member of a rival faction within the Partido Popular (PP) political party, as a “son of a bitch”.
Although sources within the regional government have confirmed the letter has been sent they would not discuss the letter’s content, deeming it personal.
Due to Sra Aguirre’s much publicised battles with Madrid mayor and fellow Partido Popular member, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon, the insult was initially thought to refer to him, forcing Sra Aguirre herself to admit the insult was aimed at Sr Serrano. She said she had used the expletive as she “couldn’t remember his name” but said she was sure both Sr Serrano and his mother “were saints”.
